Moonshot Grant
The Hendricks County Community Foundation (HCCF) is excited to introduce a rare, one-time opportunity to “shoot for the moon” and dream boldly to solve our community’s most significant challenges. Made possible through the Giving Indiana Funds for Tomorrow (GIFT) IX Community Support Grants Program offered by Lilly Endowment Inc., this initiative reflects an extraordinary investment in our future: of the $3 million awarded, $1 million has been set aside to fund a single, transformational project or program capable of changing the trajectory of Hendricks County.

Following the HCCF Grants Committee’s review of the initial 22 Letters of Intent on October 8 and the HCCF Board of Directors’ approval on October 22, six inspiring non-profit proposals were selected to advance to the final round.

- Cummins Behavioral Health Systems – Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Center
- Greater Indy Habitat for Humanity – Affordable Homeownership and Housing Preservation
- Hendricks College Network – Countywide Career-Connected Learning
- Hendricks County Senior Services – Adult Day and Caregiver Support Center
- Sheltering Wings and Susie’s Place – Countywide Trauma Prevention and Resilience
