Staff Members

William A. Rhodehamel, a native Hoosier with a diverse background in small business and nonprofits, has been the third CEO of the Hendricks County Community Foundation since 2012. He has been studying and pursuing the best practices in nonprofit governance for over 25 years and has experience as a founder, president, CEO, and trustee with multiple organizations in Indiana, including Hoosier Orchid Company, Riviera Club, and Fleming & Associates Calibration. He lives with his family in northeastern Hendricks County in an updated 1848 farmhouse.

Eric Hessel started working with the Community Foundation in 2003 as a youth grantmaker and has since worked in both the direct service and funding areas of nonprofits. Prior to joining HCCF full time, Eric worked in youth programming and with the US Census Bureau, in addition to building relationships in the local community that assist in strategic and effective grantmaking decisions. Eric grew up in Pittsboro and currently lives in Carmel, IN with his two dogs.

Frances Mock is a long-time Hendricks County resident with deep ties to the community. Her professional background includes roles at West Bridge Church and Donovan Certified Public Accountants. She has been with HCCF since 2012 and currently manages our organization's events, communications, marketing, and donor development. She lives with her family in Avon and appreciates the family-friendly environment and caring people of the county.

Skylar Hazelett was born and raised in Indianapolis and looks forward to contributing to and engaging with the Hendricks County community in her new position at HCCF. She recently graduated from the IUI O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs with a B.S. in Public Affairs. Outside of work, Skylar can be found biking, immersed in a good book, experiencing the vibrant First Friday art events around Indianapolis, or creating delicious vegan meals.

Deb oversees the Foundation’s financial records and database management, ensuring smooth operations to support HCCF’s growing impact. She brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit administration experience to HCCF. Deb's passion for working with organizations dedicated to making a difference aligns perfectly with the Foundation's mission. Deb loves living in Brownsburg and enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs.
