Staff Members

William A. Rhodehamel, a native Hoosier with a diverse background in small business and nonprofits, has been the third CEO of the Hendricks County Community Foundation since 2012. He has been studying and pursuing the best practices in nonprofit governance for over 25 years and has experience as a founder, president, CEO, and trustee with multiple organizations in Indiana, including Hoosier Orchid Company, Riviera Club, and Fleming & Associates Calibration. He lives with his family in northeastern Hendricks County in an updated 1848 farmhouse.

Eric Hessel started working with the Community Foundation in 2003 as a youth grantmaker and has since worked in both the direct service and funding areas of nonprofits. Prior to joining HCCF full time, Eric worked in youth programming and with the US Census Bureau, in addition to building relationships in the local community that assist in strategic and effective grantmaking decisions. Eric grew up in Pittsboro and currently lives in Carmel, IN with his two dogs.

Frances Mock handles our events, communications and marketing efforts, as well as the preparation and maintenance of the financial records for the foundation, including asset reconciliations, financial reports, donor funds, and grant processing. A long-time resident of Hendricks County, Frances has also worked with West Bridge Church and Donovan Certified Public Accounts and Advisors. She lives with her family in Avon and appreciates the family-friendly environment and caring people of the county.

Bryan Chatfield is an experienced community leader with a proven track record in establishing credibility through eliciting trust, and inspiring others to work together for the improvement of their communities. Before joining Hendricks County Community Foundation, Bryan served as Associate Director of Holy Family Shelter where he was responsible for overall client services and shelter operations. He is also an elected member of the governing body of Wayne Township Trustee Office with the responsibility of advising with the township trustee concerning matters pertaining to the civil township. Bryan lives in Indianapolis with his beautiful wife, daughter, and dog.

Judy Clements keeps the office humming and handles our correspondence, gift and grant entry. She is married with two sons and a granddaughter, two rescue dogs and a grand-dog.
