Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth
This training will give you basic information on terminology, history, and pronouns so you can feel comfortable having conversations with your LGBTQ+ youth, their families, and the other youth in your programs. We will also discuss what to do when a young person comes out to you. Topics covered will be basic terms, pronouns, coming out/outing, basic flags, gender, and how to be a good ally/advocate.
